I worked in Corporate America for 15 years after college, but escaped 🥳🎉in 2015 to start my own one-person business.

I own a private investment management company, and I write extensively about investments, lifestyle and markets.

Previously, I worked in the institutional investment management industry. I was a fund manager for a multibillion-dollar pension and an associate portfolio manager for a large bank in Chicago.

My degrees are from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (BS, Finance) and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA).

I enjoy the flexibility and challenges of working independently, especially not having a boss, and the freedom to spend my time as I see fit.

I am based in beautiful Naperville, IL, USA. Home of walking trails, restaurants, coffee shops, and our crown jewel—the Riverwalk. Recently voted best place to live in America.
